Comets Take It on Chin, Lose, 18-0, to Philadelphia Tuesday, April 10th , 2001 The Kenosha Comets met their match today in Philadelphia hurler Milt Pappas. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Kenosha skipper Antonio Talavera said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 18-0 victory, Pappas whiffed 3 and gave up 4 walks. |
