Injury Brings Season to End for Huff
Monday, July 2nd , 2001
In a news release, the Penn Yan Mustangs announced that first baseman Aubrey Huff would miss the rest of the season due to a severely strained hip muscle. Huff sustained the injury on 07/01/2001. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager.
So far this season, Huff has hit .261 with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 41 times.
