Season Ends for Rupe

Team officials for the Albany Diamond Dogs confirmed that radial nerve compression will force Ryan Rupe to miss the rest of the season. Rupe sustained the injury on 07/28/2001. It remains to be seen who will replace Rupe on the active roster.
So far this year, Rupe has been credited with no saves, registered a 5.26 ERA and struck out 24 in 25.2 innings. He also has a 0-1 record.
