Baker Pitches Secret Nine to Shutout Victory Saturday, April 21st , 2001 The Albany Diamond Dogs met their match today in Armstrong's hurler Scott Baker. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Albany skipper Jared Russom said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 5-0 victory, Baker whiffed 7 and gave up no walks. |
