Buckner Wins A Prize, Named Best Hitter in April Tuesday, May 1st , 2001 At only 20 years of age, Bill Buckner could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Pine Bluff Judges, as April was one to remember for the left fielder and he has captured the WBL A Ball Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .427 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
