Season-Ending Injury for Lyons Saturday, May 19th , 2001 Team officials for the Kenosha Comets confirmed that a torn flexor tendon in his elbow will force Ted Lyons to miss the rest of the season. Lyons sustained the injury on 05/18/2001. It remains to be seen who will replace Lyons on the active roster. This year, Lyons has made 6 starts, thrown 31.1 innings, fanned 19 batters and walked 7.
