A Awards Player of the Week Monday, June 25th , 2001 The top batter in the WBL A Ball last week was Brandon Nimmo, who batted .545 and towered above everybody with a 3-game hitting barrage. During the week Nimmo banged out a .545 batting average (6-for-11), 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. Today the Phoenix left fielder received the A Player of the Week Award. Nimmo is currently hitting at a .265 pace with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 67 games and scored 41 times. |
