Durham-Bingo Long's Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, June 29th , 2001 Ralph Kiner of the Durham Bulls and Larry Dierker of the Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Bulls-Traveling All Stars game at Durham Athletic Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Kiner and Dierker will begin serving them soon. Currently Kiner is batting .223 with 8 home runs and 23 RBIs. This season in 16 starts, Larry Dierker has a record of 8-4 with 66 strikeouts in 86 innings and a 2.20 ERA. |
