A Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 2nd , 2001 The WBL A Ball has made it official -- Ruben Sierra is this week's winner of the Player of the Week Award. The St. Paul right fielder was sensational with a .524 batting average, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. Sierra also had 1 walk and posted a .522 on-base percentage. To date Sierra has chalked up a .367 average with 8 home runs, driven in 21 runs and scored 15 times. |
