Peterman Torches Judges for 5 Hits Saturday, July 14th , 2001 Bill Peterman was the King of Swing at Exposition Park in the 5-4 Roanake Black Cardinals win over the Pine Bluff Judges. The Roanake catcher stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Pine Bluff and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Bill Peterman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. On the season, Peterman is batting .293 with no home runs and 2 RBIs. He has played in 10 games. |
