The Philadelphia Pythians met their match today in Staten Island hurler Art Ditmar. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Philadelphia skipper Travis Meadows said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 4-0 victory, Ditmar whiffed 7 and gave up 2 walks.
This year, Ditmar has a 3-1 record with a 1.98 ERA.
