Penn Yan Celebrates Wild Card Win Monday, August 13th , 2001 The Penn Yan Mustangs celebrated joyously tonight after clinching a wild card spot in the WBL A Ball. The overzealous celebration was for good reason, with the Mustangs only securing their playoff position in the season's final days. "We're going to let loose a little and enjoy this accomplishment," said reliever Kyle Funkhouser. "It's been a long season and a tough playoff race." |
