Cienfuegos Loses Whitson, Out 4-5 Months Monday, April 15th , 2002 Ed Whitson could soon be placed on the injured list. The Cienfuegos starting pitcher told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 4-5 months because of a bone spur in his elbow. He hasn't played since 04/13/2002 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there." |
