A Star of the Week Named Monday, April 22nd , 2002 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that St. Paul's Pat Meares put up last week were the envy of the league, as Meares came away with WBL A Ball Player of the Week honors. He belted out 9 hits in 11 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week as he posted his .818 batting average. |
