Oakland Triumph Powered by Gross's 5 Hits Saturday, April 27th , 2002 Oakland defeated Albany at Coors Field. The star of the game for the Oaks was third baseman Wayne Gross. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-5 day, paving the way for Oakland's 9-2 triumph over the Diamond Dogs. Wayne Gross singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Joe Neale in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Art H Johnson in the 6th and singled in the 8th. |
