Star of the Week Picked in A Monday, April 29th , 2002 When it came to hitting the baseball, Bob Cerv was in a class by himself in the WBL A Ball this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Corpus Christi tagged opposing pitchers for a .636 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 4 homers, 4 runs scored and 8 RBIs. In the 2002 season Cerv is hitting .250 with 4 home runs. |
