Extra-Inning Win by Black Yankees Over Colt 45s
Both teams had their chances, but the New York Black Yankees eventually prevailed.

New York center fielder Eric Davis contributed to his team's 11-10 win over the Houston Colt 45s. Davis, who is tied for 10th in the AL in total bases with 239, went 4 for 6 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Black Yankees. Aroldis Chapman, now 1-0, was credited with the win. Davis had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-2 changeup from Jim Kern, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Black Yankees a 9-7 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for Davis.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Davis.
