ABCs center fielder Oscar Charleston left his mark on his team's 7-4 win over the New York Gothams. Charleston, who is tied for 7th in the NL in extra base hits with 71, was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Indianapolis in the contest. At 69-71, the ABCs claim third place in the National League Marvin Miller Division.

Early in the game, Charleston had a 2-run home run for Indianapolis. It was his 34th home run of the season and put the ABCs on top, 2-0.
