Due in large part to center fielder Jim Edmonds, the Wandering House of David sunk the Indianapolis ABCs, 9-4. Edmonds went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Wandering pitcher Jack W. Taylor earned the win, hiking his record to 12-10. Rube Foster suffered the loss. The House of David win now puts them at 74-80.

In the top of the second, Wandering third baseman Richie Hebner had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, Hebner stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 5-0, Wandering. For the game, he went 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Edmonds.
