Monarchs Absorb 8-5 Home Loss
Indianapolis and Kansas City duked it out and the ABCs came out victorious.

Indianapolis right fielder Oscar Charleston helped his team beat the Kansas City Monarchs, 8-5. Charleston, who is tied for 2nd in the NL in triples with 7, went 3 for 5 for the ABCs. Rob Dibble was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 16 save opportunities.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Bench.
