Goslin Clips House of David for Cycle Friday, July 13th , 2001 Goose Goslin roughed up Wandering House of David pitching in a big way at Wrigley Field, leading the Homestead to a win, 10-3. With his parents and family watching from the stands, the 26-year-old left fielder put on a magnificent show, hitting for the cycle -- collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. "It was a good day for that to happen," a beaming Goslin said after the game. "I really got some good looks and delivered. Sometimes you're just on." He finished his historic day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Goose Goslin struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Fergie Jenkins in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
