Big 3-HR Day for Giles

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Padres-Black Senators game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
San Diego left fielder Brian S Giles thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the San Diego to a win, 7-6, over Austin.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Giles said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Giles was 3-for-4 on the day with 3 runs batted in.
Brian S Giles hit a solo-shot off Guy Bush in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Guy Bush in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Guy Bush in the 8th.
Giles's current batting average stands at .375 and he has chalked up 4 home runs and 5 RBIs.
