Dougherty Batters San Diego Big Time Friday, June 29th , 2001 The Albuquerque Isotopes swept past the San Diego Padres, 21-0, at Isotopes Park, paced by left fielder Patsy Dougherty. The 28-year-old Dougherty got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Padres. Patsy Dougherty hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Pete Vuckovich in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 7th. Thus far this season, Dougherty is hitting .312 with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 80 at-bats and has played in 34 games. |
