Seldom used 1B Greg Brock had easily his best game of the season, scoring 3 times, driving in 2, and hitting his first homerun of the year as Conley moved to 8-0 on the season.

Derrek Lee hit a walk-off grand slam, leading the Angels to a 9-5 win over Brooklyn. Mike Trout hammered out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, driving in 2 and scoring 2.

#Wandering House of David
Anthony Rizzo and Fred Lynn hit the first homeruns of their WBL careers, leading the House of David over Philadelphia, 7-4. Dick Tidrow, Lee Smith, and Bruce Sutter combined for 4 innings of hitless relief to seal the victory, which went to Frank Sullivan, who is now 5-6 on the season.
Elrod Hendricks and George Stone hit two homeruns each, leading the House of David to a come-from-behind, 7-6 win over the Stars. Bob Rush got the win and Sutter picked up his 9th save of the season.
